Two hectares, old vines

In Münchweier, at the foot of the Black Forest, Sven Enderle and Florian Moll started their own wine estate in 2007. They had met while training as winegrowers at the Kaiserstuhl. They chose quality over quantity: just over two hectares on the Kirchberg, mostly planted with very old Pinot Noir vines, alongside Grauburgunder and Müller-Thurgau. Part of the vineyards is farmed biodynamically. Today Florian runs the estate together with his wife Géraldine.

As little as possible between grape and glass

The goal has never changed: wine that shows as directly as possible where it comes from. That is why nothing is pumped, fined or filtered. The red wines mature for twelve to fifteen months in used oak barrels. The Pinot Noir comes in three tiers: Basis from the younger vines, Liaison from the old vines, and the single-soil wines such as Buntsandstein and Muschelkalk.

The final vintages

2022 and 2023 are the final vintages of Enderle & Moll. Once they are gone, they will not come back. According to Florian, his wines always need a few years to find their balance, and they are at their best right now.
