Terms and conditions

Short and readable, so you know where you stand.

These terms are a draft. Company details, Chamber of Commerce and VAT number and the final provisions will be added and legally reviewed before the store opens. The Dutch version prevails.

1. Applicability

These terms apply to every offer from Hopwaarts and every distance agreement concluded between Hopwaarts and a consumer.

2. Age limit

Alcoholic beverages are sold exclusively to persons aged 18 and over. You actively confirm this at checkout. Age is checked again on delivery. If age cannot be established, the order will not be handed over.

3. Offer and prices

All prices are in euros and include VAT, excluding shipping costs unless stated otherwise. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer do not bind Hopwaarts.

4. Formation of the agreement

The agreement is formed once we have confirmed your order. We may refuse an order if delivery is not possible or if there is reasonable doubt about the age of the person ordering.

5. Delivery

We deliver within the Netherlands. Delivery times are only stated once confirmed and are always an indication, never a strict deadline.

6. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel the agreement within 14 days of receipt. Products must be returned unopened and undamaged. Opened bottles or cans are excluded.

7. Payment

Payment is made using the payment methods offered in the store. The order is only processed once payment has been received.

8. Complaints

Report complaints about a delivery within 7 days. We respond within 14 days with a substantive reply or an indication of when one will follow.

9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the invoice amount of the order concerned, insofar as the law permits.

10. Applicable law

All agreements are governed by Dutch law.
